Our Story
In the summer of 1997, two of the Hall brothers expressed their passion for the county and community that they loved. The people and soil of northern Tennessee gave this love a foundation on which dreams were built. Together, the Hall Family, the love of viticulture, a winery with distinct character, and a second generation vintner made this dream into a reality and Sumner Crest Winery opened it's doors in 1997. Over the years some things have changed, wines have been added, a deli licence for food choices, and more seating to enjoy our facility. But one thing has remained- that hospitality is number one at Sumner Crest. We strive for every customer to feel right at home when they enter the doors. Come visit our unique winery which is open every day of the year except Easter and Chrsitmas.

We welcome guests into our 1900s era tasting room. Come visit us for a wine flight that costs just $10 for (4) two ounce pours.
